2023 Estate Chardonnay
Chehalem Mountains
The Chehalem Mountains ask something of a Chardonnay. Perched at elevation, shaped by Volcanic and silt loam soils and threaded with cool Pacific air, the appellation rewards focus — and this wine answers with uncommon depth and detail.
The 2023 opens with a generosity of fruit that feels both precise and alive. Sweet-tart and electric, the fruit never overreaches — its ripeness is balanced, held in careful proportion.
One quarter new French oak brings warmth and dimension without obscuring what the mountain gave.
This is a wine of balance above all, bright where it needs to be bright, rich where richness is earned.
Approachable now and rewarding through 2031.
