The Jachter Tasting Experience
A tasting at Jachter Family Wines is an invitation to slow down and engage deeply with place.
Your visit begins in the Chehalem Mountains, where our organically farmed estate vineyard sets the tone for everything that follows. The landscape is calm and expansive, shaping an experience that is intentionally unhurried from the moment you arrive.
Guests are welcomed into a serene, design-forward tasting room where hospitality is personal and thoughtfully paced. Tastings are hosted either by walk-in or reservation and guided by members of our team who know the vineyard, the vintages, and the quiet decisions behind each wine. Conversation is encouraged, never rushed.
Each tasting features a curated selection of our small-lot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay—wines crafted to express nuance, restraint, and elegance. Occasionally, if availability allows, we will also share our estate-grown Nebbiolo, Pinot Meunier, Sparkling, and White Pinot. As the wines unfold, guests are invited to explore the influence of site, vintage, and farming practices, gaining insight into how subtle choices in the vineyard and cellar shape what’s in the glass.
The experience is intentionally intimate. There is space to linger, to reflect, and to connect—both with the wines and with the setting itself. Whether seated indoors or enjoying views of the surrounding hills, the focus remains on clarity, craftsmanship, and a sense of place.
A visit to Jachter Family Wines is not about spectacle or scale. It is about thoughtful hospitality, authentic connection, and wines that speak quietly but with lasting presence.
Walk-ins are always welcome and reservations are appreciated.
Walk-In seating is available Wed-Mon - 11am to 4pm and is based on availability.
