Rose petals and spice on the nose drive you into the glass.  Black raspberries, Sweetheart cherries, anise, pomegranate, and a thread of earthiness broaden on the palate with well-managed toasty oak spice.  Complex with refined tannins leading to an elegant, persistent finish.
